Tracy and Daisy loaded both Olivia and Jessie into Daisy's blue Blazer and took off towards the hospital. They arrived there
about 20 minutes after Enos and the ambulance had gotten there.
Enos was waiting for the girls by the glass sliding ER doors and he waved to them as they drove up. They quickly got out and
got the kids out and then went over to where he was
"They're all right." Enos said as he saw the looks on their faces.
 "Thank God." Tracy breathed
"What's wrong with them Enos?" Daisy asked.
"Well Bo has a concussion and smoke inhilation, and Luke has a cracked femur and jammed his shoulder, they are both being
kept overnight for the smoke inhilation and cause of Bo's head injury."
"Can we see them?" Tracy asked
"Sure we can go right up, they are on the third floor."
"What happened?" Tracy asked as they started for the elevator
"I ain't sure, but we can ask Luke how he broke his leg."
"But what about Bo?" Daisy asked.
Enos shook his head. "I don't know Honey, he ain't awake yet."
They were at the elevator now and Enos pushed the up botton. The elevator arrived shortly after that and they all got on and
Enos pressed 3.  The doors shut and the elevator went up. About a minute later, the elevator stopped at the 3rd floor and they
got out.
"It's room 304, this way." Enos said as he led the way to the room.
They walked a short distance down the hall and stopped in front of room 304, the door was closed and Enos opened it and
ushered them inside.
Bo and Luke were lying in two beds, Bo was in a white hospital gown with the oxygen tube hooked to his nose, his eyes were
closed. Luke was in a gown as well but he was wearing hospital leggings and his cast covered leg was slightly elevated. He also had an oxygen tube in his nose and he opened his eyes when he saw them come in.
"Hey ya'll." Luke said
"Luke Duke what in the world happened?" She said angrily, but still hugged him out of relief.
"Hey sweeheart, it's good to see you to." He said laughing a little
"Come on Luke what happened?" Daisy said as he sat down on the edge of Bo's bed and looked at her cousin, wishing he was awake.
Luke shook his head. "All i know is when we got there the building was on fire. I went in and found him upstairs, tied up and
uncounscious....As i was bringing him down, the stairs gave way and we fell and that's how i broke my leg." Luke said gesturing at his leg. "As for who tied him up and set the fire, i dont' know, and he hasn't come around yet to say anything."
"Hey Buddyroe, I talked to that nice Detective Hillburn, he said that because I was with you for this fire, that they are starting to look for another suspect and maybe if Bo knows something he can clear you." Enos said as he grabbed a chair from the corner
and sat down in it.
Luke nodded. "Thanks Enos." he said sincerely and looked over at Bo. "Even if he woke up now and told us what he knows, it still probably wouldnt' do any good, they are probably are already out of the state."
Tracy nodded. "Yeah the question is when is Bo going to wake up." She sighed, thinking about Kelly as she looked at Olivia,
who was sitting in Daisy's lap. "Excuse me for a second, I'm going to give Kelly a call."
Tracy left the room and went down to the payphones, she opened her purse and found her address book with Bo and Kelly's
cellular phone number. She took out her phone card and started dialing.
"Hello?" Kelly said on the third ring
"Kelly this is Tracy, can you fly out to LA by any chance?"
"Hey Tracy." Kelly said. "I probably can, why?"
"Listen its a really long story but to sum it up. Bo is in Cedars-Sinai with a concussion."
"What?!" Kelly exclaimed. "What happened?"
"He was knocked out and the building he was in was set on fire, Luke rescued him and broke his leg. Like I said its a really
long story, don't worry Libby is fine, she's here with us. I'm at Cedars right now."
Kelly sighed. "Ok. I'll try and take a flight out tonight, but if i can't then i'll get one out first thing tomorrow."
"All right, we are in Cedars-Sinai, room 304. Call here from the airport and I'll come get you."
"Alright." Kelly told her. "Thanks for calling Tracy and tell him when he wakes up, hes going to get a kick in the butt when I get
there."
"He ain't awake yet Kelly..."
"I know, but if he does."
"I will... see you soon."
"Ok, bye."
"Bye."
Tracy hung up the phone and returned to the room, she took Luke's hand and held it.
"Did you call her?" Luke asked
"Yeah, she is going to fly in as soon as she can, she was very upset."
Daisy nodded her head. "I can understand why."
"So can I..." Tracy said as she squeezed Luke's hand.
Luke squeezed back. "He'll be fine, hes a Duke." he said. "We have hard heads."
Tracy raised an eyebrow at him. "It appears not Luke, if Bo had a harder head he would be awake."
Luke sighed and patted her hand as he looked over at Bo. "Yeah i know."

Three hours later, the phone in the hospital room rang. Tracy who was dozing in a nearby chair, woke up and quickly answered it. Daisy and Enos had left about an hour before to take the kids home to get them feed and to also take care of Brad and Mark.
Tracy yawned and picked it up. "Hello?"
"Hey Tracy, this is Kelly. I'm at the airport."
Tracy's eyes grew wide and she looked at her watch. "Wow girl that's fast, okay give me 20 to get there... I'm in Daisy's Blue
Blazer."
"Alright..How is he?"
Tracy sighed and looked over at Bo. "No change...the doctor said he took a really hard hit to the head."
Kelly sighed. "Ok....I'll meet you out front then. See you in a little while."
 "Okay bye Kelly."
"Bye."
Tracy hung up the phone and gently shook Luke awake. "Luke?"
"Mmmm." Luke said as he opened his eyes.
"That was Kelly, I have to go pick her up."
Luke nodded. "Ok baby. Be careful."
"I will." Tracy leaned down and kissed him. "Be back soon."
"Ok."
Tracy grabbed her purse and left the room.
Tracy took the keys that Daisy had left with her when she and Enos went to not only take care of Jessie and Olivia, but to take
care of Brad and Mark. She climbed behnd the big vehicle and caught the freeway to LAX. She exited the freeway and
entered the frontage road that went right past the front of the airport. She saw Kelly standing on the curb and parked in front of her.
Tracy left the vehicle idle and went up to the brown haired woman. "Kelly?" They had never met face to face.
Kelly nodded. "Yep, that's me." she said. "Nice to finally get to meet you."
"I wish it was under better cicumstances." Tracy said as she hugged her
"Yeah me to." Kelly said. "So, tell me. What exactly was my husband doing?"
Tracy picked up Kelly's suitcase and put it in the back of the Blazer as the two women got into the vehicle. "From what we can piece together, he went to that building to help Luke get out of the 4 counts of arson he was facing. We figure he must have
seen the arsonists and they hit him and set the building on fire."
Kelly sighed and shook her head. "That sounds like something he would do."
"It's something Luke would have done too. I'm sorry Kelly, I was pretty upset because of Luke being in trouble and I put a lot
of pressure on Bo to help Luke."
Kelly shook her head. "No, its ok. Knowing Bo, he would have done it anyway without any prompting."
Tracy nodded as she pulled into the parking lot of Cedars-Sinai and parked.
"Where's Libby?" Kelly asked as they got out of the car.
"Daisy and Enos took her to my house and they are staying over to watch all the kids."
Kelly nodded
They got into the elevator and Tracy pushed the button for the 3rd floor. The trip up was fast and Tracy directed Kelly to room 304.
Luke looked away from the TV, which he had on low, as they entered the room. He caught sight of Bo's wife and smiled a
little. "Hey Kelly."
"Hey Luke." She said as she went over to him and hugged him. "Are you okay?"
 Luke returned the hug. "Yeah, just a broken leg and hurt shoulder."
Kelly broke the hug and finally got the courage to look at bed with her husband in it
Luke sqeezed her hand. "Why don't you go talk to him, see if you can't wake him."
Kelly nodded and walked around Luke's bed and sat on the edge of her husband's bed. She reached out and gently brushed
the hair from his forehead. "Bo? It's me Honey..."
There was no response and Kelly sighed and picked up his hand. She looked down at it and noticed that his wedding ring was
gone. "Where is his ring?" She asked looking at Tracy and Luke.
"I have it." Tracy said as she reached into her jean pocket to get the ring. She came over to Kelly and handed it to her. "He
took it off before he left the house"
Kelly took the ring and slipped it back on Bo's left hand. She smiled a little and laughed as she looked at Luke and Tracy.
"Reminds me of our wedding day."
Luke chuckled.
Tracy raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"Two years ago I slipped that ring on his hand and now all of a sudden I get to do it again." Kelly sighed and gently placed his
hand down on the bed. Kelly patted his hand as she turned away from him, looking at Tracy and Luke.
 She was upset and she needed a moment to gather herself together. Luke saw the distress on the face of Bo's wife and he
understood how she felt. Luke looked at his cousin, trying not think about what would have happened to him if he and Enos
hadn't gotten there.
Luke looked down at the gold ring that she had just put back on his cousin's hand and to his surprise, Bo's hand flipped over
and his thumb touched the ring and he wiggled his fingers. His hand flipped back over like it was and Luke's eyes grew wide.
"Uhh...Kelly...." Luke lifted his head and motioned for her to turn around and she creased her brow and turned around.
She looked down at his hand and shrugged her shoulders. "What?"
"I saw him play with the ring."
Kelly raised an eyebrow and got an idea, she remembered how sometimes Bo would play with his ring so she picked up his
hand and purposetly twisted his ring around so that the heart was on the back of his finger instead of the front. She put it back
down and watched.
Kelly smiled as he watched Bo's hand come off the bed a little, he turned the ring with his thumb and wiggled his fingers until it
was turned back the right way. She looked up at his face and noticed that he was moving around. She turned his face towards
her and put her hand on his cheek. "Bo...."
"Kelly..." He whispered as he slowly opened his eyes.
"Yeah it's me, how do you feel?"
Bo closed his eyes for a moment and touched the back of his head, there was a big bump there and he flinched. "Okay until I
did that...where am I?"
"Your in the hospital." Kelly told him, taking his hand
"Hospital? For what?" He asked as he started to cough.
"For almost becoming the first Duke to be served well done!" Luke said from his bed and Bo looked at him.
"Oh hey Luke.. .what happened to you?" He asked seeing the cast.
"He rescued you from a fire, Bo." Kelly said. "You'll be needing pretty much the same thing after i get through with you."
Bo touched the tube that went across his upper lip. "So that explains this tube, I guess those three jerks started the fire." He
looked at his wife and gave her his most charming smile. "Oh you don't mean that. I couldn't let Luke go to jail for 20 years. I
had to help him."
"Yeah well if it wasn't for Enos we would been gone a lot longer. When I broke my leg he is the one that got us both out of
there. What exactly did you find in that building?"
Bo sighed and saw the ring back on his hand. "I thought I had left this on your desk Luke. And to answer your question, I saw
the three guys that have been torching the buildings on your route."
"I guess Tracy found the ring and brought it with her." Kelly said looking at Tracy, who nodded her head. "Why did you take it
off in the first place?"
Bo sighed and reached up and touched his wife's face. "Two years ago, I promised you that I would be your husband. I
promised Libby I'd be her Daddy when she was born and when I figured out where the next fire might be I knew I couldn't
help Luke with that promise hanging over my head. I took off my ring to keep it."
"Oh Bo." Kelly said as she teared up and leaned over to hug her husband. "I love you."
"Love you too.." He whispered as he held her. "Where is Libby?"
Luke was watching this little scene with a smile. "Daisy and Enos took her and Jessie home, they'll probably bring her back
later. Say Bo, do you think you can identify those three you saw?"
"I can probably identify two of them, but i didn't see the one that hit me. Their also might be one other person involved but i
don't know if it was the person who hit me or he wasn't there."
Luke nodded. "Well I'm sure identifying the two will be enough. You do realize that you blew one of the myths about us Dukes."
Bo looked at Luke. "And whats that?"
"That we got hard heads! I don't know what they hit you with but you were out for quite a while."
Bo chuckled. "How long was I out?"
"Umm let's see...Kelly got here three hours after Tracy called her and you were out at least a couple of hours before that."
Tracy sat with Luke on his bed and put her arm around his shoulder. "Yeah Rip van Duke!"
"Cute." Bo said and then gestured to Luke's leg. "What did you do to your leg?"
"Carrying your unconscious keister down a flight of ancient wooden stairs that were on fire and gave out from under us! I broke my leg and jammed my shoulder and all you did was tumble off of my shoulder."
Bo snickered. "Ain't my fault your not to strong, cause i'm not that heavy."
Luke crossed his arms over his chest and scoffed. "Oh I'm plenty strong, it ain't every day that I have to carry a tree on my
back!"
"Hey!!" Bo protested
Luke turned to Kelly and winked at her. "It would have been easier carrying a car down those stairs."
Kelly shook her head and Tracy looked at her. "Are they always this loving and kind to each other?" she asked
"Oh yeah, alll the time. You should hear some of their phone conversations."
Just then a voice came over the P.A., announcing that visiting hours were over.
Kelly sighed. "I guess we gotta leave."
"See you in the morning, then. " Bo said, taking his wife's hand. "Say hi to Libby."
"I will. You get plenty of rest and tomorrow we'll be back to take you home." Kelly touched his face and gently kissed him.
 "Yes ma'am" Bo said
Tracy hugged Luke and kissed him. "We'll be back early."
"Alright sweetie." Luke said
Both women left the two men and headed for home.

At 6 am, the nurses came and took the boys' vital signs and checked Bo's pupils. They were both pronounced healthy and
given their release papers and their clothes that the hospital had laundered for them. Luke had to phone the house and tell Tracy to bring him a pair of shorts because there was no way his jeans would fit over his cast. A little past 7, Tracy and Kelly came to the hospital, ready to bring them both home.
"Good morning." Kelly said as she looked at Bo sitting on his bed, his legs dangling over the edge of it.
"Morning yourself sweetie." Bo said
 "How do you feel?" She asked as she hopped up on the bed beside him.
"Have a little bit of a headache, but i'm fine." he said as he leaned over and kissed her cheek
"Well you are lucky that you didn't break your head." Luke added as he came out of the bathroom using the crutches he was
given, wearing the shorts Tracy brought.
Tracy whistled at Lukes legs. "Nice legs, Luke." she said and winked at him.
Bo saw him and covered his mouth as he tried to hide a giggle. "Oh don't you look studly in shorts! Very California Cousin."
Luke narrowed his eyes and extended one of his crutches. "Careful, I got a weapon."
Kelly looked at her cousin-in-law and raised an eyebrow. "You do something with those and you might be wearing two casts!"
"Oh no you don't." Tracy said as she stepped in front of Luke and smiled
Bo saw the way Tracy was quick to defend Luke and he smiled and got down from the bed. "Can I speak to you alone for a
second?"
"Sure." Tracy said, raising an eyebrow
Bo took her arm and walked outside with her and closed the door so Kelly and especially Luke, wouldn't hear.
"Let me ask you something Tracy."
"Shoot."
"You ever going to marry my cousin?" He asked with a smile.
Tracy blushed. "If he asks me." she said
Bo nodded. "Well why wait! I bet if you ask him, he'll do it."
Tracy sighed. "I dont' know Bo. I mean i know he loves me, its just....." she stopped and shrugged. "I don't know....I don't
think he would say yes."
Bo raised and eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest. "Wanna bet?"
Tracy raised an eyebrow. "What kind of bet and how much?"
"I bet 50 dollars that you can persuade Luke to marry you within the next 6 months."
"I don't know..." Tracy said as she bit her lip and sighed. "Ok," she held out her hand. "You've got a bet."
Bo shook her hand and sighed. "I just got me 50 bucks!" He said as he went back inside the room.
Tracy shook her head as she followed him back into the room
Luke was finishing getting dressed when he saw Bo and Tracy come back into the room. "So what did you two talk about?"
"Nuttin!" Bo said as he sat back down on his bed beside his wife.
"Oh really." Luke said and looked at Tracy. "Tracy?"
"It was nothing, don't worry about it. You ready to book?" She said quickly changing the subject.
Luke raised an eyebrow, but didn't press her further. "Yeah, i'm ready. Lets get out of here."
As Kelly stood up, she quietly asked Bo about what he and Tracy had talked about.
Bo smiled and shook his head. "Mas tarde, horita no es un buen tiempo."
Kelly looked at him. "That knock on the head must have scrambled your brain more than we thought."
Bo smiled and shrugged her shoulders at her. "You know what I said."
Kelly thought about it for a moment and then nodded her head. "Tell me later."
Claro que si." Bo clapped his hands together loudly. "Okay let's blow this joint!"
Kelly took his hand and smiled. "Lets go."
Luke shook his head. "Spanish class this semester there Bo?"
Tracy helped Luke leave the room and Bo looked back at him. "Surprised that this white boy is learning spanish?"
"White boy?" Luke said as he shook his head. "And yeah it is a little surprising that my Cousin is learning Spanish."
Bo chuckled. "Well, now i can talk about you behind your back and you won't know what I'm saying."
They walked down the hall towards the elevator. Tracy pushed the button and when the door opened she gasped when she
saw Detective Hillburn behind it.
"Good Morning to you too Miss Morris." He said as he looked at Luke on his crutches.
 "What are you doing here?" Tracy asked
"Actually I was on my way to see Luke."
 "What for?" Bo said as he frowned at the Detective.
 Tracy stepped in front on him. "You are going to arrest him again are you?"
"That all depends."
"On what?" Luke asked
"On whether Bo Duke is willing to talk to a police sketch artist about the men he saw and tell me what they talked about."
"Sure." Bo said. "I'd be happy to."
"Good, I'll be expecting you in my office soon." He said as he stepped back into the elevator. He pushed the button and looked at Luke. "I hope there are no hard feelings, I just did my job." He said as the doors closed.
Tracy sighed and pressed the down button, waiting for the next elevator to come.
"He's a real sweetheart." Kelly commented
Bo sighed and put his arm around her shoulder. "Oh yeah, ranks right up there with Satan."
"Well at least they don't think it was me anymore." Luke said as the elevator came back and he went inside of it.
"Yeah, thats the good thing." Bo said as he and the rest got in the elevator.

Bo went down to the LAPD and told them what he knew. Hillburn said they would look into trying to find the guys but several
hours later, after they went home, he called to tell them that they had found no trace of them, but had APB's out on them. He
also cleared Luke of any wrong doing and apologized again
Several days later, Bo, Kelly and Olivia went back to Hazzard to begin the process of moving and life returned to
normal for everyone.
